Ruffle Scarves

Instructions

I worked the red, white, and black scarf from the Starbella yarn first and loved the drape, cast on 8 stitches and knit each loop.
When I worked the Sashay according to the pattern on the yarn wrapper, I didn’t like the ruffles, too close together and the color changes didn’t show up well. So I used every other loop and only cast on 6 stitches for the Sashay and it worked out a lot nicer.

Very nice! Did you use one skein of Sashay for each scarf?

yes, 1 skein makes about 70" long x 4" thick.

Thanks, and yes I did, but on the Sashay I skipped every other hole and only picked up 6 sts. I didn't like the tight ruffles in the pattern provided, and using this method produced a more open ruffle. The other yarn I used is the Starbella, and I used it as directed.
