Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: The cake is covered in fondant, I then used modeling chocolate to make the molded scrolls and painting them wt Hybrid Sparkle Dust from Les Chocolats Roxy & Rich. The red pleats were made out of fondant using the "Pretty in Pleats" from Marvelous Molds. The reindeer silhouette was cut out of gumpaste , I inserted a wooden "stir stick" in the leg so that I could then stand him up on the cake top, once dried he was airbrushed and dusted wt the Sparkle Dusts. To coat the cake top I used a fine layer of fondant glue to adhere the sugar crystal in place. Voila!
