Materials

8 mm round Freshwater Pearls, faceted Ruby ovals, vitrial Swarovski bicone crystals, gold-filled spacers. Beadalong medium beading wire, gold-filled findings.

What was your inspiration?

My 55-yr high school reunion and a pretty top that I chose to wear which was a sheer, predominantly red paisley print with some gold sequin and seed-pearl trim.

What are you most proud of?

That for the first time I was able to wear one of my own jewelry creations to a class reunion.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I had more trouble deciding what to wear than I did with deciding what jewelry to make to wear with it! You can custom-make the perfect accessories for any outfit -- even as I am now thinking about a denim Lapis Lazuli necklace to wear with my favorite jeans.
