What are you most proud of? I am very pleased with how the positioning of the embroidery turned out. I also used tips from Ultimate T-Shirt to reset the shoulders for a better fit.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Choose a cheap purchased shirt ( $9.95 ) Pick a design and be patient. Take care with measuring and placement. Try the garment on in front of a mirror to make sure you like the look. I found that the "visual" center of this polo shirt is NOT the "measured" center and had to adjust the placement to accommodate. I bought a large size to fit my hips and needed to reset the drop shoulders 1 inch to get a more pleasing fit.

That looks fab! So clever. I have an embroidery machine but placement bugs me, yours looks perfect!

Thanks. Not without some trauma and a few unpicked stitches but I am pretty pleased with it. These shirts are perfect for camping.

Deborah has some great tips and then it comes down to practising. That is why I said start on something that doesn't cost much ( cooks put their disasters in the bin - sewists wear them to do housework and gardening.) Thanks for the kind words.

What a great job, perfect placement, and I love the tone-on-tone with the blue.

Thank you. The photos don't really show how pretty the royal blue is.

Great job Sarg, the placement is great and an awesome job on the shoulders. Really looks more expensive than $9.95 Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Nanna Val. I love these classes. I've been having a great time and there is always a new way to do things and it is fun to share.

I find the placement as one of the more challenging things in machine embroidery and you did a great job!

Thank you Sweet Jasmine. Lots of measuring and a couple of false starts but it turned out very nicely in the end.
