What was your inspiration?
I made a royal cape for my son and his friend for their joint birthday party that was kingdom themed.
What are you most proud of?
Sewing isn't my strong point and I didn't let my sewing machine intimidate me. The kids were so happy and loved playing pretend.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This material was a pain to try to pin. I ended up skipping pinning the pattern to it and instead traced it with a disappearing ink pen.
