What materials did you use? Cotton fabric; rayon thread

What are you most proud of? The improvement in freehand feathers, as well as the texture in the white-on-white quilted areas.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? 1. Using a top where you don't care if it doesn't quite work out removes some hangups or inhibitions. 2. Don't read about it and obsess as to whether you really could do it; just go do it! 3. The visible improvement in my feathers was quite remarkable; Angela gives excellent tips

Thank you Vicki! I've completed another quilt where I used the custom feathers, and I am just AMAZED that I.... MOI... did them! I'll post a couple pics very soon.
