What materials did you use? Buttons, Embroidery thread, cotton materials, flannel for the back, batting, sewing supplies & tools. Sewed with machine & partly by hand.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid to try hand sewing along with machine quilting.

well- I am not sure - I bought it some years back - but I know Barnes & Noble can get book outof print if it is...check their website...or google it and see if anyone has it on line perhaps...good luck

The circles look very difficult? Are they? I haven't been quilting long; would love to do something like that or even appliques; a little tenitive!

No, not really- you just lay the circle on top of the other pieces - once it's pieced and ready to quilt - then just iron the "hem" - turn in about 1/4" and then (hand) sew it in place - you can do it by machine - if it's easier - but I like the look of the hnad sewn edges...gives it a more "rustic-primitive-look"...
