Instructions

I measured the Nook Color against the cardboard and cut to make a perfect replica. I cut 2 pieces to fit and one for the binding. The fabric is cut in 2 long pieces. iron on interfacing to the fabric then assemble sewing to lock in each cardboard piece. I also added a pocket. I winged it as i went along.

Materials

1 fat quarter (100% cotton), medium weight interfacing, thick cardboard, 5/8" white elastic. Sewing machine and notions.

What was your inspiration?

I previously made a Nook Cover following a pattern. It turned out fine. I went from that pattern and came up with this one. This one is for my daughter (Rosie) ;)

What are you most proud of?

That it turned out pretty good considering it's my first design.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Measure everything... most of all, have fun!
