Don't skip ahead!! As in knit farther than where you stopped in the video....I had to "undo" and "redo" a couple times because I got a little too much confidence and lets face it, when it came to knitting in the round, I was not the sharpest tool in the shed....Difficulty:

Some awesome Italian 100% wool yarn! In "burnt orange"
What was your inspiration?
Stephanie Japel! She's so much fun! Her patterns were fun and easy to do when you haven't been knitting for long and never knew that you could even knit in the round until you stumbled upon the preview video of the class!
What are you most proud of?
The decreases and the pattern on the crown.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Go for an oober soft, oober comfy yarn. The yarn I chose for this specific hat, although worsted and had perfect gauge and everything, after the project was complete it came out a little stiff. I'm sure once it's worn over and over again it will get soft but next time I make this hat I'm definitely going with something that's soft right off the bat.
