What was your inspiration?

First of all, I am thankful to have been able to learn the "One Stroke" Method of painting. I took the One Stroke certification in 2005 and I have been painting ever since. Roses are my favorite thing to paint. I will paint on anything because it can make a not so special item really special.

Donna Dewberry took a technique that she discovered and makes a living at it because she was willing to share and teach others.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

So many people have told me they can't draw a stick figure. The really neat thing about One Stroke is that you don't have to be able to draw. You simply learn a series of brush strokes and when you put them all together you have a flower. No pattern necessary.
