Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. Used acrylics on 12 x 12 canvas to paint Craftsy Course supplied portrait. Traced flower outline onto tracing paper then used transfer paper to apply drawing to the canvas. Glazed many layers to create the colors I wanted. For my glazes I added water droplets to thin the paint. Colors I used were Titanium White, Cadmium Yellow Medium, Ultramarine, Paynes' Gray, Permanent Blue Violet, Thalo Blue, Thalo Green, Permanent Magenta, Permanent Green Deep and Acrylic Retarder and Gloss Gel Medium. I used a blue violet glaze to give the large rose the violet shade I wanted. I am not ready to paint the vase, I did not try.
