Where in Marie's lesson is this ruffle technique implemented? Do you mind telling me how the ruffles are done? Thanks, Rain

Google ruffle cakes and there are videos on the techniques. Marie doesn't cover it in her classes. Good luck

This cake is beautiful, are the ruffles made by hand or did you use some type of tool? Thanks Rain

All by hand, it took about five hours and my hand ached after but it was worth it. Thank you for your lovely comment

Wow....this is so beautiful!! I'm doing a wedding cake (my first) very similar to this. Any suggestions? I'm pretty nervous about it....

If you are doing ruffles just make sure they are evenly spaced out and take your time, it is a really easy way to decorate a cake and the covering doesn't need to be perfect as it is covered up so that is a real bonus. Make your flowers in advance and just enjoy

... nice detail with the Bear Grass, Was it intentional to have it form a heart shape at the top??
