What was your inspiration?
My mom's name was Rose and she loved to knit. So this knitted rose was perfect for her along with two skeins of yarn and some lovely new knitting needles that became the stem of the rose. It makes a nice gift for a knitter.
What are you most proud of?
I got some more practice knitting and I tried felting for the first time.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I had to felt the rose and the leaves twice and the rose took longer than I expected to dry.
