What was your inspiration?
Inspired by a shrug knit and worn by my grandmother that now fits me like a glove. I designed this child's version with that in mind and it is named after my other grandmother, who my daughter is named after as well. I'm working on the adult version right now too, because I just need to have one too!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Choose a soft cotton or super soft wool blend so it's soft enough to wear against your little girl's skin.
