What advice would you give someone starting this project? Stacey's instructions are fantastic. If you're new to amigurumi, make sure you read the instructions first so that you know what's coming up.

This is a sweet monster which is not at all that scary for a child who wants a monster but you don't want to make one too scary. Great colours.

I especially love its unmatched googly eyes and floppy ears. I think the wool being striped is a good idea. I will try to do this one in a striped yarn too. Its too hard matching stripes when crocheting this way in the round though easy as you don't really have to count rounds. Though I was thinking on that and we could put a patch pocket heart or something over the area we don't like where the stripes don't quite come together.

That is a great idea! If we did that, it could also double as a tooth fairy pillow.
