What was your source for this crocheting project?

Name of website or photo Room slippers
What materials did you use? Wool, cotton, acrylic worsted yarn. Make with a 5.5mm crochet hook, a needle for weaving in ends and embellishments such a buttons and flowers. Rubber for the soles if necessary when making for children or for those with floors and stairs. Please be responsible.
What are you most proud of? The many pairs I have been able to make using a small amount of yarn. I love putting mohair or contrasting yarn on the edges. I added straps to them to keep them on. And for the ones that are for children and those with hardwood floors and stairs, I added liquid rubber purchased from Joann's Crafts web site.
What advice would you give someone starting this project? Follow directions to the tea. Don't fudge on the number of stitches and make a stitch gauge. Count and use wool as it turns out best. Cotton may be good too but have not tried it. Any kind of yarn may work well but acrylic is hard to put through the hooks since these require two strands of yarn to make.
