What was your inspiration?
I saw this pattern on Justcrochet.com and had to make it for a baby shower on Sunday. It turned out just adorable! Took a little longer than some of her other patterns but was well worth the extra time
What are you most proud of?
I love the look of the finished romper set and am just proud of myself for it coming out so well! I would make this again! The instructions for the hat had ear flaps which I eliminated. They also say to add either a pompom to the top of the hat or a flower. I picked the flower and used pattern # 2 in the Leisure Arts book, 99 Floral Motifs. I added and extra petal row to the flower
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just concentrate and read the pattern very carefully. Each patern row consists of 2 rows, a chain row and a shell row so there is a little more work involved in this set
