What materials did you use? Cardboard, paper, glue, clock mechanism

What advice would you give someone starting this project? You can find clock faces on Internet, or you can even produce a custom one. Use heavy cardboard for the clock. Cut 2 circles, and one long piece of cardboard that goes around the circles. Assemble them (put old newspaper inside), but make sure to make a hole for the mechanism in advance. Glue the clock face on right side - decoupage it with Mod Podge, or similar glue. There is no Mod Podge in my country so I used an alternative, that works well. Finally, produce some quilled flowers, or whatever shape you are fond of, and glue them all around the clock.
