Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Clothing

For: Women

Style: Outdoorsy, Whimsical, Holiday, Religious, Eco-Friendly, Retro / Vintage, Romantic, Cute, Formal / Bridal, Classic, Victorian / Steampunk, Casual, Preppy, Traditional

Materials

6 Skeins medium thickness satin wool and 3.25 mm crochet hook

What was your inspiration?

After finishing 63 projects to give away, I wanted to do something for myself, finally I got what I wanted for so long, a cape and shawl all in one.
Oups, I did not measure it, well I will do it one day, hehe

What are you most proud of?

The conversion from a long oblong shape to a perfect small round collar, as I wanted, and the even size all around, I did not want to look shorter at the arms length so, I modified some stitches.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Put your imagination to work, and pursue your dream job, might surprise your the results

I am so sorry not been able to help you gtl, when I invent my projects never write them down. Just love to practice stitches combinations. Here I started with 270 chains for bottom base, using 4 rows shell stitch (16 chains per shell, made 16 shells total y 2 hc each side for edge. When got to desired lenght, cut yarn and re-started on straight hem (skipping evenly) with hc, dc and tc to downsize for collar (finished on 44 hc, last 5 rows) Hopefully that will help you
