What was your inspiration?
I love the combination of BFL and silk. BFL has a long staple and is so soft but can be a bit too fuzzy for my liking sometimes. The kiss of silk gives it just the right touch and helps so much to make a cleaner looking yarn with lovely drape, especially with the navajo ply. This should knit up beautifully!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Some people go up to a larger whorl when navajo plying but I don't. I think it makes the plies look like plump little pearls if the twist is ever so slightly tighter. I just treadle a little slower when plying as opposed to spinning the singles.
