What was your inspiration?
I saw some free tutorials on youtube...looked like a fun project! I did find a printable pattern on allpeoplequilt.com it is called American Patchwork & Quilting ...1 Million Pillowcase Challenge, but it is very easy to make without a pattern ...I just followed along with the video!
What are you most proud of?
I like that the seams are totally enclosed, no raw edges to fray!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
These pillow cases are so easy to sew...I chose to do mine with a french seam...takes a bit longer to make, but I find it looks so much nicer! Pillowcases are fun to make and with all the great fabric to choose from, you can "custom- make" them for family and friends... Great gift idea! I made Standard size pillow cases, and I made some pillowcases to fit my 12" Ikea cushions.
