What materials did you use? Fabrics to coordinate with the center panel cotton/polyester blend batting

What are you most proud of? I loved the way the Sailors Delight came out (thanks, Peggy Martin, for your great pattern and clear instructions!) I also loved the way the quilting worked out (although the picture doesn't show it well) - I used a rodeo coloring book to make quilting motifs of rodeo events.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Let your fabrics inspire you!

What a great quilt you designed!! It's such fun to use a theme, and you did a wonderful job incorporating the Sailor's Delight blocks in the corners - they do remind me of spurs, too! (Or maybe the stars in the night sky out on the range...) I hope you raise lots of money for your auction, and thanks for sharing your fabulous quilt!
