Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Wire-Wrapped Stones, Crystals & Clusters »

Instructions

I really did this one by myself but I give credit to the class as I learned a lot from this class and I really enjoyed it. It teaches some of the basic things we all should know when it comes to jewelry.
As always take your time, have fun, enjoy what you are doing or get up and do something else. :)

For: Women

Style: Eco-Friendly, Outdoorsy, Casual, Traditional, Mod, Classic, Geeky

Ten red calcite 12 mm B 9 iolite trdp puff C 18 Bead Serp puff b/c Gold flex 2 6mm jump rings 2 2 mm bead crimps 1 lobster clasp Three broken nails Two humming birds and a partridge in a plum tree..

What was your inspiration?

I was in the mood to play with some stones.

What are you most proud of?

I have not given up on myself and my fluff.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take your time, enjoy yourself. Have fun doing what you do and if you make a mistake then laugh about it, learn from it and attempt to not do it again. But if you do then no worries, you are in good company.
happy monday! :)

I just realized what you meant a few days ago and have been a bit busy with the labor day weekend.. and yes sometimes when I use a colored wire or flex I like to let it show- whats the point of using a gold or silver or colored wire if its not going to show at some point or other :) thanks for the support too. These days I am always doing something silly and or attempting to finish the things I have started. :) see you soon

Nice necklace AR Grover, I have made many necklaces with wire showing in the back, most of them are 3-5 strands.

Thank you! I used crimps and a regular necklace attachment, with jump rings .. no wire showing but I also put it with my world of warcraft metal etching and it looks great. Daughter just recently gave me a large crytal her current beau gave her and am currently attempting to figure out if I am wire wraping it or going to use some clay metal. :) I really did learn a lot from your class and look back at it at times when I need to remind myself to breath and slow down. :)
