What is exciting or interesting to you about your photo(s)? I liked the color contrast between the foliage and the complex rock wall.

Can you tell us about any special equipment or techniques that you used? Canon 70D with a wide angle lens at 33 mm, f/7.1, 1/100 ISO 400. Shot from a tripod. Sad to say, I had to remove graffiti from the rocks in photoshop.

This image and the next one are interesting looks at the contrasts between rocks and trees, color and gray, fall color and green. In both images, however, you have centered the big tree in the composition. That is not helping you get the most from your image area. In this photo, for example, there is now a lot of extra stuff on the right hand side that is not really adding anything to the photo, but is there because the big tree is centered. Centering tends to be less interesting for most viewers unless the image has some very deliberate centered compositional elements.
