What was your inspiration?
This artificial pumpkin was commissioned by a client for her husband as a Halloween tribute to his film production company. I took the company logo (an allee of trees with a winding road, seen from a chained off fence) and created a spooky version of it. I used a paper punch of a graveyard scene at the end of the road to emphasize the final destination ;)
What are you most proud of?
The cut paper trees - I photocopied my design in graduated sizes and cut them out so that when assembled they'd give the perspective of distance.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take the time to learn to papercut with precision and care - in a small project like this detail is everything!
