Type of item: Functional

Materials

cotton fabric and acrylic yarn

What was your inspiration?

I like to create boy blankets that are bold and bright! No pastels here!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I would rate this as a advanced beginner crocheter. You also need some basic sewing skills! No sewing machine required!

Complete crochet and sewing instructions are included for the approx 31" x 30" blanket and I have added two edging options! The instructions do not include the name of any of the fabrics shown. You will need to choose and purchase your own fabric and coordinating yarn.

Color photos included! I am always available for help!

So glad to find your projects, Little ones get the best of both worlds thickness and warmth of crochet and the softness and absorbancy of fabric. I've tried doing this but have had a difficult time attaching the fabric and crochet together with out making a mess.

I found you Sheila, that was easy! I can't believe you made a robot blanket, I've been obsessed with robots ever since my 3 month old was born. Now I REALLY want a blanket! I wish I could crochet or knit, but I have 2 left thumbs.
