What are you most proud of? That I was able to leave a day-long workshop with a lap-sized quilt top almost completely finished!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? No rulers allowed! At first making gentle curves free-hand is a bit intimidating, but you'll get the hang of it before long and then there'll be no stopping you!

wow. This is beautiful! How did you sew the curves without it bubbling?

You lay the pieces on top of each other, right sides up, and rotary cut gentle curves, free hand. I will try to find the tutorial from American Quilter magazine and post the link. It's a real fun technique.

another great project. I like this and your explanation...cut the gentle curves with the fabrics together. I of course love the colors.
