What was your inspiration?

Love Riley Blake designs and crocheted blankets! The best of both in one cuddly stroller blanket!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I would rate this as a advanced beginner crocheter. You also need some basic sewing skills! No sewing machine required!

Complete crochet and sewing instructions are included for the approx 31" x 30" blanket and I have added two edging options! The instructions do not include the name of any of the fabrics shown. You will need to choose and purchase your own fabric and coordinating yarn.

Color photos included! I am always available for help!

Have tried to make this blanket with flannel material instead of the cotton you recommend? Do you think it would work? Or is flannel too soft? I'm not experienced when it comes to sewing and material, so my ignorance is completely showing here. ;-) Please let me know your opinion and/or experience with this. Thanks!

The blankets a just magnificaent. I've been crocheting for years (self taught) and have never been so moved by one particular crocheted item. The fabric and designs are so rich. I hope some day the pattern will be available. I would love to make one for each of my grandchildren and create a family heirloom. Thank you for your talent and inspiration. Claudette

Love Riley Blake fabrics too. Completed a cot quilt, bunting, crib caddy and sheets for my first grandchild who lives in Scotland with Riley Blake Hooty Hoot fabrics. Now out of production I believe.
