Here are some details about my project:

What materials did you use? I grabbed some scrap yarn (appears to have some silk content) to practice the new skills learned in this lesson: casting on in pattern and binding off the last stitch without an unsightly ear. Rather than stopping at making a sample, I kept on until it was long enough to fit around my wrist, and I sewed on a silver slide clasp. I opted not to block the piece so that the rolled edges would look like I-cord framing the cables.

What are you most proud of? Seeing a design possibility in a simple pattern, and not wasting a sample.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Keep track of the row count so that all the cables are consistent. If you are used to binding off loosely, as for socks, bind off more tightly for a firmer edge.

Seriously BRILLIANT use of a swatch!!!

Thank you Patty, for your quick comment and encouragement. I am very excited to continue learning new cable patterns and appreciate the generous number of project instructions included in this course.

I'm giving you a standing ovation right now. This (right down to the unblocked "i-cord detail") looks like something I'd expect to see as a pattern for sale. Forecast: I will be making this on purpose to look like a plush version of a Celtic silver bracelet!

I am blushing right now after reading your enthusiastic comment, thank you!
