What was your inspiration?

I absolutely love the right angle weave! It's a beader's best friend. I created this pattern a few years back when I had woven a few pearls together, but didn't like how the Fireline showed so much in between them. In hopes to cover up my weaving, I began crossing back over the bracelet with 11/0 seed beads. I've been in love with this pattern ever since!

What are you most proud of?

I'm proud of creating a pattern that is so versatile. The color combinations are simply endless with this bracelet. Change the sizes, the shapes, the textures and create a whole new look!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Have patience. This project isn't fast, it is time consuming.

Be sure that you have beading needles! Ending the project is pretty much impossible if you don't have them! And please be careful that you don't run a needle through your finger. Trust me it hurts!

Have fun with this project! Make it your own!

this looks a lot like the flat spiral weave, also. Can you tell me how they are different?

A flat spiral stitch pulls the center beads onto the thread side ways and loops the seed beads back through on the sides. This bracelet uses right angle weave to create the body. There is not flat spiral stitch technique in this bracelet. The hematite side beads are part of the body, not the overlay.
