What are you most proud of? I had to resize the pattern in the middle of the fabric store. I am proud that I got all the measurements right.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This pattern is easy to make and could be done with any style of fabrics designs. Pay attention to how all the fabrics look together and then choose a sashing/border that makes them standout. The original pattern had different color sashing and brown border but I felt it was too busy. The original also had 9 different fabrics for the squares and 4 for the sashing. I only used 6 fabrics for the squares and then 1 for sashing and border. Layout all your cut pieces and move them around until you get it how you want it. Take pictures as you move them around so your can remember where you want everything. The pieces can easily get mixed up as you sew them together. I sewed the top in one day trying to not mix them up.
