I love using the wired ribbons. There are some beautiful variegated ribbons. Then the fun comes when you find a button or make a center to make your flower special. People wear them on the blouses, t-shirts and jackets, in their hair and on their handbag. And they make a wrapped gift package really gorgeous. I just can't stop making these things !
What was your inspiration?
I've always admired milinary flowers. I just started experimenting. I made some ugly flowers before I perfected my technique. Now I can knock one out in an hour. Don't be afraid to experiment. You can always undo it and start again.
