This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Quick-Strip Paper Piecing »

Instructions

Used stitch-in-the-ditch for squares, and diamonds for borders.
Would like to highlight the stars with thicker brown thread all around (stitch in the ditch.
Label was printed directly on fabric with inkjet using the freezer paper method and appliqued by hand on the back of the quilt.

What was your inspiration?

The craftsy course, of course. Then spending hours in the quilt fabric shop to select and audition fabrics.

What are you most proud of?

The accuracy of the piecing. All points match perfectly.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

To take the time to audition the fabrics... and listen to favorite, calming music while doing the sewing!

Thank you! The colors harmonize with the neutrals in our family room, and the quilt will be used to cozy up this winter in front of the TV.
