Old wooden chair our neighbor had out for the trash.
What was your inspiration?
My husband brought it home. The next door neighbors put it out for bulk garbage pickup. It had a padded seat. Just needed some TLC.
What are you most proud of?
Took something and made it useable.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You can make something out of almost anything. This chair was sanded and then I painted it. It's now in my kitchen cubbyhole desk. Thought it came out pretty good and it was fun doing it. I'm not a planner when it comes to doing painting. I pick a color and just go with it and somehow the pattern just follows. Sometimes it works out....sometimes not so good. Just enjoy and have fun.
