What was your inspiration?
Learning to sew. This class was awesome. I've never sewn anything more than a few quilt patches.
What are you most proud of?
That I was able to finish both items in one afternoon - using my $35 Singer (got it at a garage sale)!
I was also confident enough after the first one to play with the dimensions and pattern (pocket) to make it what I wanted. Next - adding a zipper to the reversible bag???
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
As most of the courses I've taken at Craftsy (quilt/cooking/knitting/crochet) - if you have the time I think it's well worth it to watch the video through first and then use video notes to mark the areas involving construction techniques.
