A half yard for the main bag, a half yard for the liner. I used a couple of Creative Cuts half yard cuts that I found on clearance at Walmart for only $1.50 each!
What was your inspiration?
I love tote bags. I use them for everything. Books, toys, diapers, shopping, Anything really! Sorry for the poor photos. My camera is having a bad day. lol
What are you most proud of?
I love the way the colors blend. I had originally planned a simple tote. The button flower was a request. But I think it looks adorable and I'm very happy with it. My seams came out really straight! (this is only my second real sewing project! Yay!)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Really take your time. With cutting, pressing etc... It makes a difference! Also use care when pressing the seams around the top of the bag before you stitch your little hole up. Have fun! You can do almost anything with this awesome tutorial!
