Reversible Romper

Dark side out - back view

Dark side out - back view
Light side out - front view

Instructions

I used the same method as for my red romper - start with free online nappy cover pattern , then add bib. The difference here was that I used 2 layers of quilting cotton, which makes it reversible.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Clothing

For: Infant/Baby

Style: Casual, Outdoorsy, Retro / Vintage, Cute

Materials

3 fat quarters quilting cotton, fold-over elastic, sewing thread, snaps, iron-on interfacing for under snaps.

What was your inspiration?

I wanted a gift for a friend's baby that I had not seen yet - the straps are ridiculously too long, but can be cut off to fit.

What are you most proud of?

I love this pattern - it's so quick and easy to make, but comfortable to wear in summer.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It helps if you can try it on the baby when choosing strap length!
