What was your inspiration?
Once again, I saw someone knitting a project like this at a conference last week, and I figured that there must be an easier way of doing something like this than carrying the yarns over simultaneously. It really is just four mittens, the lining knitting into the cuff of the first one as a mirror image.
What are you most proud of?
I really like these, they're luxuriously soft, and just right for the really cold weather
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Finish the thumbs and all yarn ends before you close the lining end (thumbs so you can adjust the size to fit unless you're really good at measurements), and yarn ends so you get a neat finish.
