What are you most proud of? it's a fun skirt, with a different look on either side. great for little girls in their "twirly skirt" phase. so easy & quick to make!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? As long as you know the length and waist measurements, this is such a fun and easy skirt to sew quickly. If you make it non-reversible, it's even quicker.

Hi Dee! I didn't use an actual pattern. All you need to do is know the waist measurement of the person who will be wearing the skirt and cut 2 full circle skirts. I sewed them right sides together first at the waist; turned them out & pressed the sewn, inserted elastic about 2 inches shorter than the waist measurement, sewed it between the two layers about 1/8-1/4 inch below the bottom of the elastic used bias tape to cover the raw edges at the hem. It took about 2 package of bias tape to go fully around this hem, and I used less than a yard of each fabric. The skirt was for a small 4 year old. There are many tutorials online for making circle skirts. I prefer to fold the fabric in 1/2, & 1/2 again, measure out 1/4 of the waist, measure length from the waist & cut with a rotary cutter. I hope that helps. If you need more clarification, let me know :).
