Reversible Baby Beanies

Make It

This project was made from an independent Craftsy designer's pattern:
Reversible Baby Beanies »

Instructions

I drafted my own pattern - the PDF is available on Craftsy.

They are very simple and quick to whip up. The size the beanie will fit up to will depend on the fabric you use. The more stretch, the longer it will last! I've used both 2 way stretch, and single stretch. If using single stretch, make sure the stretch is around the circumference of the head - not the other way.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Accessory

For: Infant/Baby

Style: Casual, Cute

Materials

I used my own fabric in organic knit I designed here: http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/1117656, plus coordinating thread.

What was your inspiration?

I love making things for little babies, and I couldn't find a good reversible beanie pattern anywhere - so I made one myself.

What are you most proud of?

I designed it all myself. The pattern, the fabric, everything.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be afraid of sewing with knit. It's really not that hard - just sew slowly, and take your time.
