What was your inspiration?

I love working with batiks and experimenting with different color combinations.

What are you most proud of?

I alter the pattern a little by putting the layer of warm and natural batting in between the two fabrics to make it warmer for Minnesota winters. The pattern only calls for the two cotton fabrics without another layer inbetween.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Spend time laying out fabrics to see which two match the best since you willl see the inner fabric when you roll up the sleeve cuffs. Also, don't sew the two buttons on too tight.
