Instructions
Buy a polar fleece throw or blanket to the size you want.Ribbons or any edging you perfer, when putting boarder on make sure you have your velcro sewn or pinned in position. As the toys are joined with string and velcro, you can take them off when you want to wash the quilt With your material your using for the playmate, put your applique or shapes where you want them. Materials
Polar fleece, material scraps, ribbons, wool wading, felt squares, velcro loops, thing sting, I brought a range of toys which I tied to toys and then to velcro. I used different textured material for my grandaughter to feel and learn.
What was your inspiration?
My Daughter wanted a playmat with a difference, so my imagination went in overload.
What are you most proud of?
Made it without any pattern and to make it so big was a task in its self, but I got it done !
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Write down and draw what you woud like on mat, get everything you will need for your playmat
