Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Magical Jelly Roll Quilts »

Instructions

I had to line the top as there are so many seams, I felt that when it was washed then used the seams would be all over the place. and I know this person doesn't Iron. I also sewed circles in the center of the pattern to insure the seams stayed in place.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Men

Style: Whimsical, Casual

What was your inspiration?

My Son wanted something for his bed.

What are you most proud of?

This is almost more work than a quilt. Had to line the top to help keep the seams under control. I also serged all the seams to help. And FMQ for the first time circles into the center to keep the seams down. As this person doesn't Iron!! LOL I also used my button holer on my machine for the first time. I will be using it alot more now that I realize how easy it is!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Write down your plan,, I didn't and even though it worked, I now only have pictures to go by for the next time.
I didn't have jelly rolls so I made my own!
