Materials

Cottonease yarn from Lion Brand or any worsted weight yarn and Room Essentials Stick Lamp from Target Stores or "Small Drum Shade" from Lowes.

What was your inspiration?

This stitch pattern reminds me of some glasses we had when I was a kid. It has a fun 60's style to it and I love that the pattern really pops, almost 3-D

What are you most proud of?

I altered the directions for the stitch pattern to make it a bit easier for even a new knitter to follow. I'll also add my own tips on using a straight needle instead of a cable needle which makes working the pattern easier.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

If you have never done cables or have been turned off by the suggestion of using a cable needle, you will want to try this pattern. After one row, you'll be an expert!
