Name of website or photo Retro Flower Garland Bunting
What materials did you use? MATERIALS & TOOLS Felt (or fabric) for the flowers No-sew iron-on adhesive - Heat n Bond 'no-sew' is one brand we recommend Pencil Ruler or measuring tape Small embroidery scissors for cutting Iron Thin ribbon
What are you most proud of? It's easy to make and doesn't involve any sewing - I know not everyone has a sewing machine or the time to sew.
What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time tracing the design and cutting out the shapes. If you want to make lots of garlands it might be worth making a card template to draw around - to do that just stick the template to a piece of card and then carefully cut the shapes out separately. If you use thin acrylic felt or fabric you will need some spray starch to stiffen the material - you can find this in the laundry aisle in supermarkets - it's the stuff used to starch shirts and it's cheap - a can will last for ages!
