What was your inspiration?

I spend a lot of time in my kitchen and I wanted an apron that did not pull at the neck. I designed this collar so that it easily rests on the shoulders. Because the collar is oversized, it grabs onto your clothing and never pulls on your neck. Perfect for long days in the kitchen.

What are you most proud of?

This was my first pattern that had drafted pieces. The pattern also has a layout map for piecing the pattern tiles. It all goes together perfectly. Since it is digital, you can print it out an unlimited number of times.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be afraid of this pattern. There are tons of pictures and easy-to-follow, well-written instructions. You will feel like an expert once you've made this apron.

I like this because it doesn't pull on the back of the neck like a normal apron. I can not tolerate anything on the back of my neck because of neck injures. I'm hoping this will be my answer. Thanks a bunch.
