What materials did you use? Blue gingham, off-white plain blend

What are you most proud of? The topstitching along the edges gives it a clean, finished look. It came out just as I'd pictured it in my head.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Aprons are easy because you don't need a pattern to fit exactly. Just hold the fabric up to your body to see what the general size and shape is that you want, and go at it!

Very cute! I love that it has enough coverage to protect your clothes and looks pretty.

This is awesome! I'm about to do 3 apron orders here myself and I really like the style of this one. You did d a great job on it! It's very retro and flirty too. Time to update my own stash I think. Thanks for the inspiration. :0)

Sweet apron! A great shape and nice little details. What pattern did you use?

I didn't use a pattern, I just kind of measured from my waist down to where I wanted the bottom to end and then up to where I wanted it, cut out rectangles of those dimensions and rounded off the corners. Then I just gathered a long strip of fabric folded in half and sewed it into the edge for the ruffle.
