What was your inspiration?
The block comes from the book Block Party by Marsha McKloskey. The name of the block is Swamp Patch. The colors I used were the colors that had been requested by the recipient. The hydrangea fabric was my inspiration for the other fabrics. I had all of them in my stash except for the light batik used in the blocks.
What are you most proud of?
Finishing it ahead of the deadline!!!!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
use Triangles on a Roll, it really makes the piecing go quickly and they come out pretty square
