What was your inspiration?
I saw a line drawing of a man in the park with the bare trees just as it is in the picture above and I like the picture and wondered if I could make a quilt out of the line drawing. I used inks for the background and added the man on the bench added the house and walkway. I quilted and embellished it with embroidery. I have not decided how to totally complete the quilt. Do I just bind it or frame it or what? So right now it is hanging on my design wall until I decide.
What are you most proud of?
I'm most proud that I was able to create the quilt from the sketch and it turned out better than I expected.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Go for it!!
