This quilt is done with all cotton fabric and cotton batting inside.
What was your inspiration?
I wanted to make a quilt for my second grandson and he likes firetrucks and I found this fabric with firetrucks, firemen, doctors, ambulance and many other things that go with the theme.
What are you most proud of?
The way I incorporated the printed fabric with machine embroidery of a fireman's hat and an axe. Also the pattern goes on a diagonal so it gives the quilt more interest.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Decide what size you need (as in bed quilt, cuddle quilt) and then break that down to how many blocks that would be depending on the size of block you want in the project.
